YOU are above the intersection of Shields and Abbott Streets. From here you can see most of the waterfront including links to cruise boat operators in the marina. Icons at the intersections indicate an eye level view at the street corner. Double click on these to activate the link. These are digital panoramas and will soon be accompanied by photographic panoramas. Watch this space. Sites and links to note are; SAHARA, PETER LIK PHOTOGRAPHY, R&R RAFTING, THE CAIRNS REGIONAL GALLERY and the OUTRIGGER RESORT in Shields Street. You will also find one of the best sites in town, “AUSSIE BUSH HATS’ on the Esplanade towards the Lyons Hotel. In Abbott Street you’ll find THE CAIRNS POST, WOOLWORTHS and the CAIRNS CITY LIBRARY. Towards the mall in Shields Street you will also find BACKPACKERS WORLD, next to the NATIONAL BANK. You can also link to hotel sites like the Pacific International on the corner of the Esplanade and Spence. The hotel site contains more digital panoramas by Virtual Cities, illustrating the proposed renovations currently happening at the hotel.

How To Make it Go: Put the cursor in the bottom right corner of the panorama, then click & hold the mouse, the panorama should move. You can drag the mouse around to change direction
Panning: To pan around click and hold, while moving the mouse.
Zooming: Hold down the ctrl key and mouse button, move the mouse up or down to zoom in or out.
Hotspots: double click on hotspots to go to the location (some hotspots may not be links)
